Since I am a family photographer, I love getting to capture kiddos and all their carefree adventures. Halloween is some of my kid’s favorite time of the year. They love to dress up and image themselves being an endless amount of characters. Their costume is purchase one time a year, but it is worn the entire year. They love it! During this pandemic there is so much uncertainty that we as parents want to shelter from them. I do not want my kids fearful of this, I desire them to be carefree and enjoy the simple things in life, like dressing…

A Girl and Her Horse
One of my most favorite things is getting to capture senior photography. I love getting to capture who they are and who they have become by their senior year. I got the pleasure of doing just that this last weekend. One of my dear homeschool friend’s daughter is graduating this next year and we wanted to capture what she has been up to…4H Horse training and riding. She has diligently trained these two wonderful horses: Moe and Foxy. She even has won a few championships with this two.

Creative Live Mirrors
I have slowly been working through Lindsey Adler’s Creative Live Challenge. She has inspired me to create some of my best work I have ever done. Just giving me prompts that empower me to be creative in a whole new way. One of her prompts was to use mirrors, create prisms and shoot through the prism. It is so cool to see what the reflects have to add to the shot. I was absolutely happy with how the photos turned out. I was able to try using them in two different settings. If you need creative inspiration I highly recommend Creative Live.

What makes me a unique photographer?
One of the hardest parts of photography is capturing the perfect shot. The shot that you will hold sacred and encompasses the essence of who you are and how your children are. This is an extremely hard balance when you are told to sit still and have a fake grin. So, what makes me unique is that I want me clients, especially the little people,
